Ecological Rehabilitation
Focus is on historical or pre-existing ecosystems
as models or references. Emphasizes the repair of
the biological community of interacting organisms
and their physical environment.

¤ natural areas assessment & stewardship
¤ habitat modeling & rehabilitation
¤ substrate enrichment
¤ promotion of community biota
e.g. use of native plants, foster populations of beneficial
animals (lady bugs, earthworms, birds, praying mantis, etc...)

About us:
Earth’s Answer Gardening was started by Kacie Martin. Kacie has a BS in biology from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and has an interdisciplinary PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At the University of North Carolina (UNC), Kacie was a graduate teaching assistant and supplemental lecture instructor in UNC's Department of Biology.

In addition to organic gardening experience, Kacie's experiences in the natural sciences include: laboratory work in microbiology and biochemistry, and field work in ecology and wildlife biology.
